The Zerostart Engine Heater 8601712 is designed for for Detroit Diesel models 6V-71, 8V-71, 12V-71, 16V-71, 6V-92, 8V-92, 12V-92 and 16V-92 (Engines with air conditioner compressor mounted next to water jacket access plate, except for GMC General with 92 Series engine). This model is installed by replacing water jacket access plate on Left front cylinder bank.
